Celebrating Culture, Community and Connection
bringing together Sudanese and non-Sudanese community members for a vibrant day of culture, connection, and celebration. The event is free and open to everyone.
The event also featured recreational and sporting activities for children and young people, including friendly indoor matches that encouraged teamwork, participation, and fun. Children will enjoy a range of competitions throughout the day, with prizes awarded to the winners. Traditional Sudanese music will be added to the festive atmosphere. The celebration will be honoured by the attendance of Maribyrnong Mayor, Cr Mohammed Semra, to highlight the importance of cultural diversity and community engagement within the municipality
